Best AI website builders in 2026, with their real prices

Six builders that make a website with AI, compared on what they cost and what the price includes. Every figure comes from the builder's own pricing page, read on 23 October 2026.

For the lowest price, Hostinger starts at $2.49 a month on a 48-month term and Framer's Basic plan is $10 a month. For a site made from one prompt, Wix's AI website builder and Durable's free plan are the quickest start. Webflow and Framer suit people who want to keep designing the site themselves. Licheo, our own service, builds the whole site for you.

How we compared these builders

Every builder on this page now says it uses AI, so the word alone does not help you choose. We looked at what you can check before paying: the price, the billing term the price needs, what the cheapest useful plan includes, and what the builder says its AI does.

On 23 October 2026 we opened the pricing page of each builder and wrote down what it showed. Prices change often, and several pages show one price for monthly billing and a lower one for yearly billing without saying clearly which is which. Where that happened, we say so. Squarespace showed us prices in Canadian dollars, so its figures are in CA$; every other figure is in US dollars.

Licheo, the company that publishes this page, also builds websites. We describe our service in its own section at the end and do not place it in the table, so that the comparison of the six builders stays clean.

Wix: a full site from a single prompt

Wix's pricing page describes an AI website builder that can create a site from a single prompt, after which you can move between AI generation and its usual drag and drop editor. AI creation tools are listed on every plan, including the free one.

The page shows prices for yearly subscriptions paid in advance: Light at $17.77 a month, Core at $29.77, Business at $39.77 and Business Elite at $159.77. It does not show a monthly billing price. Light, Core, Business and Business Elite each come with a voucher for a free domain for one year; the FAQ says the voucher covers a new domain and does not apply on renewal. Core is the first plan that accepts payments.

Wix suits an owner who wants a site quickly and expects to keep editing it alone.

Squarespace: design first, with AI tools added

Squarespace lists built-in AI tools on all plans, with AI credits that grow with the plan: 10 one-time credits on Basic, then 20, 40 and 120 per month on Core, Plus and Advanced. It also lists an AI Visibility feature with prompt runs in the same amounts, available for English-language accounts only.

The page showed us Canadian prices, in pairs that read as monthly and yearly billing: Basic at CA$30 or CA$21 a month, Core at CA$45 or CA$32, Plus at CA$59 or CA$46, and Advanced at CA$139 or CA$109. The cost to notice is on Basic, which adds a 2 percent fee on online store sales; Core and above charge 0 percent. Every site starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

Squarespace suits a business that sells a few products or bookings and cares about how the site looks more than about deep custom work.

Framer: AI agents for people who design

Framer sells AI agents that work on your site and use credits: 500 credits to try on a free workspace, 1,000 a month on Basic and 3,000 a month on Pro, doubled in the first month.

The plans are Free, Basic at $10 a month and Pro at $30 a month, with Enterprise at a custom price. The page shows these as monthly prices under its yearly billing option. Basic includes 30 pages, 1,000 CMS items and 50 GB of bandwidth; Pro includes 150 pages, 2,500 CMS items and 100 GB. A custom domain needs a paid plan, and AI-translated languages cost $20 each per month.

Framer suits a designer or a startup that wants a polished site and is happy to work in a design tool.

Webflow: the builder for full control

Webflow lists Webflow AI on every plan, including the free Starter plan. Starter allows 2 static pages, 1 GB of bandwidth and 50 form submissions, on a webflow.io address.

The first paid plan, Basic, costs $15 a month billed yearly, with a custom domain, 300 static pages and 10 GB of bandwidth, and no CMS, so no blog. Premium, marked New on the page, costs $25 a month billed yearly and adds the Webflow CMS, site search and 50 GB of bandwidth or more. Extra bandwidth costs more on monthly billing than on yearly billing.

Webflow suits a business with a designer or developer who will look after the site. For an owner working alone, it asks for more learning than the others.

Durable: a free AI site for a service business

Durable is built around AI from the start. Its pricing page lists unlimited AI-generated pages on every plan, and a built-in customer list (CRM) and online booking on paid plans.

The Free plan gives a website preview, 300 AI credits and a CRM for up to 10 customers. Launch is $25 a month on the plan card and $22 in the comparison table, with 1,000 AI credits a month, a custom domain and online booking. Grow is $49 or $41, with 5,000 credits and unlimited team members. A toggle offers 15 percent off for yearly billing, which explains the two prices, although the page does not say so directly.

Durable suits a one-person service business that wants a simple site and booking in one place.

Hostinger: the lowest price, on a long term

Hostinger has the lowest prices on this page, with one condition: the long term. Its website builder plans are Premium at $2.49 a month, Unlimited at $3.49 and Cloud Startup at $7.99, each for a 48-month term paid in advance, $119.52, $167.52 and $383.52 in total.

At renewal the prices change to $10.99, $16.99 and $25.99 a month. All three plans list an AI assistant for an online store. The page describes AI writing and design in general terms without saying which paid plan includes them.

Hostinger suits a business that wants the lowest cost for four years and is comfortable building the site itself.

The prices side by side

The table shows the cheapest plan of each builder that lets you use your own domain name. Read the billing column, because the cheapest prices need a yearly or longer payment in advance.

Which AI website builder should you choose?

If the lowest total cost matters most and you will build the site yourself, Hostinger is the cheapest, as long as you plan for the renewal price after four years. If you want a site from one prompt and a familiar editor, Wix is the safest start. If you sell a few products and care about design, Squarespace Core removes the sales fee of Basic.

If you or someone on your team designs, Framer and Webflow give the most control; Framer is cheaper to start, Webflow is the one to choose if a developer will maintain the site. If you run a small service business and want booking and a customer list with the site, Durable's paid plans include both.

Whatever you choose, the builder gives you the tool. Writing pages that answer your customers' questions, and making the site appear on Google and in AI answers, stays your work. Our free Get Found Check, linked below, grades any live site on this in under a minute, whichever builder made it.
